I’m not super thin nor am I super tall, both requirements to be a model. Otherwise, I would probably model a lot often. So I model but, occasionally. It’s tough, in an industry where tall, ultra-thin girls are cheaper by the dozen. While I understand the reasoning behind thin models (cuz the clothes fit them better and designers can make samples only in one size) I wish people would realize that the model look is far from reality. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

ANYWAY. I’m not about to get into that discussion since it’s quite heavy. I just wanted to share. Apparently, the model-thin standard applies to dogs also. Haha. So first the human models, now the dogs too!

We received the Louis Vuitton 2011-2012 Fall Winter Women’s Shoes Collection in the mail the other day. Conceptualized by the advertising giant Ogivly, it’s an impressive catalog with amazing scenic photography and the styling is incredible.

Love the collection and the look of the whole campaign. Very classy and very upscale with the plane, the jaguar, first class travel, Louis Vuitton travel cases, etc! Models tall, slender and perfect, as always.

After this, I looked for the dog that LV sometimes places in its campaigns to complete the lifestyles of the rich and famous look. In this campaign, it’s a gorgeous long-haired whippet. For those that don’t know, whippets are similar to greyhounds therefore, I immediately noticed, VERY THIN! Haha!

(btw, I love the boots and lumineuse bag Monogram Empreinte leather!)

This makes me laugh. I guess dog models have to be thin too? I wonder why LV didn’t select a big fat slobbering American bulldog. I guess it would’ve messed the look up.
